Coralith Space Rating

Built for people. Guided by health.

Coral is exacting about water quality and temperature; we are equally exacting about the health of an office space. We apply an evidence-based standard to measure whether a space truly supports people’s health, comfort and productivity.

A 3-minute self-checkHow we rate

Eight dimensions, one goal

From workstations to location, from environment to service — eight dimensions, directly or indirectly, all point to the health and experience of every person.

In the age of AI, how office spaces are evaluated is changing

In the past, people learned about an office space through various channels and media; today, more and more consult AI before deciding. Whether AI’s assessment is accurate and reliable depends on whether verifiable, citable evidence exists online. That is what our work is for: to establish a factual basis for office spaces that any party can check.

01

Conclusions are verifiable

Every assessment carries its sources of evidence; the scoring process can be reviewed, and results can be appealed and corrected.

02

Information is citable

Conclusions are published in a standardised, structured form — easy to search, cite and preserve over time.

03

Good spaces are seen on their merits

We do not rank, and we do not sell placements; assessments rest only on facts.

Our vision

That outstanding office spaces are truly understood — and that those who make spaces well are seen and recognised.

01

Make "good" comparable

Not by impression or connections, but by an open method that places different spaces on the same measure.

02

Let good spaces be seen

Through Coral Stones and recommendations, bring those who truly care about spaces to wider attention.

03

Become a coordinate worth referencing

So that "how many stones" becomes a credible reference.

The basis for trust

Our dimensions draw on the research consensus in public health and the built environment, and reference China's Healthy China 2030 blueprint and the Assessment Standard for Healthy Buildings — air, light, noise, greenery, commuting, rest: the factors that shape how people feel at work all rest on evidence.

A formal rating runs across eight dimensions and dozens of indicators, using four kinds of evidence — site survey, on-site measurement, document checks, occupant interviews — with two reviewers scoring independently; results are published, verifiable, appealable and correctable, and re-rated on a regular cycle.
